Wild Animal Watching
The Chitwan National Park is house of 68 species of mammals. But west part of park is popular for extinction oriented one horned rhino. Elephants, deer, wild boars, monkeys are commonly available. Bengal tigers, leopards, and sloth bears are rare relatively than other wild animals. Their elusive nature makes sightings infrequent.
Bird Watching
We have multiple bird spot and viewing towers situated at key points in the jungle, overlooking wetlands, dense jungle, grasslands and waterways. Chitwan National Park is home to over 540 bird species. you can watch few of them. some birds are seasonal birds and some are permanently available. Lesser Whistling-Duck, Bar-headed Goose, Graylag Goose, Ruddy Shelduck, Indian Spot-billed Duck, mallard, Northern Pintail, red Junglefowl etc are commonly available birds.
Reptile Watching
Common reptiles found in the park include the mugger crocodile, gharial (a critically endangered crocodilian species), various species of snakes such as the Indian python, king cobra, comodo dragon and monitor lizards. In this park, 55 species of amphibians and reptiles are found.
